"우리의 영적인 삶은 영적인 방법에 의해 인도됩니다. 여러가지 영적인 방법이 있고 그것들 각각은 악마, 즉 적대적인 영이 야기하는 어려움을 성공적으로 이겨냅니다.
이러한 방법 중 하나는 경멸하는 모습을 보여주는 것입니다. 제 말은, 원수 즉 적군이 오고있는 것을 당신이 보고 있어요. 그럼 당신은 무엇을 해야 할까요? 포위당하기를 기다릴 건가요? 전술이 필요합니다.
당신은 이렇게 해야 합니다.
그리스도께 두 팔을 활짝 벌리세요.
적을 보지 말고, 두려워하지 말고, 몸을 웅크리지 말고, 그것을 내면에서 없애려하지 말고 팔을 벌리세요. 즉, 적군이 다가올지라도 그리스도를 향하여 두 팔을 들어올리고 벌리세요.
짐승이나 개, 야생동물을 보고 빨리 달려오는 어린 아이처럼 말입니다.
'아아아! 아빠!' 라고 말하며 아버지의 품으로 달려들지요, 동물이 다가와도 두려워하지 않습니다... 그러므로 이것은 하나의 방법입니다.
'그리스도님, 제 영혼은 당신의 사랑으로 녹습니다. 저는 당신의 사랑으로 인하여 '상처' 받나이다!' "

Our spiritual life is guided by spiritual methods.
There are many spiritual methods and each of them succeeds to overcome the Adversary, the difficulties caused by the hostile spirit.
One of these methods is "showing contempt".
I mean, you see that the enemy, the adversary is coming. What should you do?
Will you wait to be besieged?
We need to have a tactic.
You see that someone is coming, the enemy, the adversary. Is the hostile spirit coming to besiege you?
This is what you should do:
Open wide your arms to Christ.
Do not look, do not be afraid, do not cuddle yourself, do not try to remove it from within you, but open your arms.
That is, although the adversary is approaching, you open your arms, lifting them toward Christ.
As a little child who sees a beast, a dog, a wild animal and comes quickly: "Aaaah! Daddy!" and runs into the arms of his father, and he is not afraid when the animal approaches.
Therefore, this is a method.
"My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord" [Ps. 84(83):2]
My soul melts by Your love, my Christ!
